Phones

Phones are a part of our lives
But our lives are not a part of phones
If phones are a constant in our lives
Then we are more connected with them than people
Just because you can text someone
Doesn’t mean you can talk to them in person
A camera lens is a modifier
A screen you can hide behind
A phone is a material item that captures memorable moments that a brain can’t
The screen provides light in dark
Sheds music to our ears
Lets us relive a moment our body’s can’t
So are phones more valuable than a person?
Should our lives rely on a sole item?
Or should we take the time to remember them from our eyes?
Should we get the courage to talk to the girl/guy in person?
Or should we hide behind the screen?
